OCS Inventory NG provides inventory and deployment capabilities for hardware and software assets. It collects system information, tracks changes, and supports package deployment. OCS is often used alongside GLPI or other CMDB tools for automated discovery. The project runs on a PHP and Perl stack and supports Linux deployments for centralized asset management.
