LedgerSMB configuration should enforce strict accounting controls, PostgreSQL hardening, and reliable period-close procedures.
LedgerSMB is configured primarily through its web-based setup.pl interface and PostgreSQL connection parameters. The application uses PSGI/Plack for its web server.

LedgerSMB 1.13+ uses a PSGI/Plack server (typically listening on port 5762). Configure your reverse proxy (Nginx/Apache) to forward requests to this port.
