- Protect Remmina profile storage with strict user permissions.
- Use key-based auth and secure credential storage where possible.
- Avoid saving reusable plaintext passwords.
- Prefer SSH tunnels or TLS-secured protocols over plain VNC/RDP when possible.
- Validate server certificates/fingerprints.
- Disable insecure legacy protocol options.
