Timeshift is not designed for containerized environments. Upstream documentation explicitly states Docker/containerized systems are not supported.
- Install Timeshift directly on the Linux host.
- Store snapshots on dedicated non-root storage where possible.
- Use live-media restore workflows for non-bootable scenarios.
